Raye-Allen Elementary School Home

Our Story

Raye-Allen was built as a K-5 elementary campus in 1998 as part of a bond package that included three elementary schools.  Raye-Allen is still a K-5 campus today, serving over 500 students.

Raye-Allen is named for Raye Virginia Allen. The school is built on land that was donated by Mr. and Mrs. H. K. Allen in 1997. Now widowed, Mrs. Allen continues to be a wonderfully supportive member of the Raye-Allen Elementary School community.

Congratulations to our fourth grade student Madison Estes for having her essay advance to the state level. She wrote an essay on Cynthia Ann Parker. The Sam Houston Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas selected Madison’s essay as their entry to the state contest. She won a certificate, a Texas treat basket, and a monetary prize. She also got to meet Andy Anderson from KCENTV. We are very proud of Madison and her hard work on her essay!
